This enables your reader to know straight away if your blog is the solution centre they're looking for. Hey Eki, I suggest a “hello world” type post when anyone starts a new blog. This will be more like an about page, why the author started the blog etc. You might think, who’s gonna read it, but people do dig up in the archives and look for the first blog post.

Avoiding mistakes always lends itself to a rocking first post Eki! I actually did something a bit eye-popping; I was in Fiji when I created and opened Blogging From Paradise so I shared how Fijian fruit bats teach you 10 successful blogging lessons. One of my analogy posts which usually do pretty darn well. And of course, folks dug it 😉
